今日、街の中で警察官に声をかけられた。
特別な出来事ではない。
この国では、それもまた日常の一部だと思う。

彼らは、それぞれの立場で社会を守っている。
簡単な仕事ではない。
だからこそ、その役目には敬意を持っている。

その日、私が身につけていたのは日の丸。
ただのデザインではなく、
長い時間をかけて受け継がれてきた象徴。

時代は変わり、過去には様々な歴史があった。
そのすべてと向き合いながら、
今をどう生きるかが問われている。

誇りとは、押しつけるものではなく、
静かに、自分の中で育つもの。

小さな旗でもいい。
目立たなくてもいい。
自然に、そばにあること。

Today, I was approached by a police officer on the street.
Nothing extraordinary.
In this country, it can simply be part of everyday life.

They carry the responsibility of protecting society, each in their own place.
It is not an easy job.
And for that, I hold respect for their role.

That day, I was wearing the Hinomaru.
Not just a design,
but a symbol carried across time.

Times have changed, and history holds many layers.
While facing that past,
we are also asked how we choose to live in the present.

Pride is not something to impose.
It is something that grows quietly within.

Even a small flag is enough.
It doesn’t need to stand out.
Just to exist, naturally, close to us.

I quietly hope that one day,
this becomes an ordinary sight.
